I analyze and go through the main events that have happened in the NFT market during the week. I choose and focus on those that I consider more or less significant. Here I share with you my personal opinion about what is good or bad in the news.

My assets

NFTSTAR Fan Pass — Son HeungMin
  • I’ve bought NFTSTAR Fan Pass — Son HeungMin. Holders of Fan Pass can win MAYC NFT, Adidas NFT and Son Heungmin’s original signed jersey through raffles. Holders will be granted an airdrop of Premium Player Card NFT can be utilized in Q2 native Play-to-Earn football game MetaGoal. Each unique card is an NFT superior of rarity and will earn more rewards.
Music NFT
  • The second one — RCRDSHP starter pack. My pack had 5 tracks of several electronic music icons. I learned how RCRDSHP works. And those are very cool assets. Also, some of them include not only the single, but also a video commentary in which the artist introduces it.

eBay is launching an NFT Collection

The company announced the release of 13 limited edition digital collectibles in partnership with the Web3 OneOf platform. Each item features a 3D animated rendering of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky performing one of his signature moves on the ice.

eBay NTF

«Forty years ago, I was grateful to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated, it was a monumental moment in my life. I’m honored to bring this collectible experience to my hockey fans who have followed my career for decades.»
Wayne Gretzky, Sportsman of the Year.

Each NFT must be available to the average fan, so the cost starts at $10 each.

eBay is trying to take its place in the web3. Let’s see what happens. The community does not particularly favor the representatives of web2. And the audience of their platform is unlikely to understand the value of NFT, which gives nothing but a picture. So far, in my opinion, eBay’s attempts to bring this NFTs look slightly wrong.

NFT watches from Murakami and Hublot

Hublot and Takashi Murakami are pushing back the boundaries of artistic expression by presenting two NFTs. These are inspired by the Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black and the Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow, the first two watches launched jointly by the Swiss watchmaker and the great Japanese artist in 2021.

Hublot NFT

The first NFT, based on the All Black version, is a limited edition of 216, while the second, which will recreate the colours of the highly exclusive Sapphire Rainbow version, will have a supply of 108.

These NFTs are mainly intended for the current owners of these two watches, to whom they will be offered under certain conditions.

In addition, 10 NFT watches will be raffled among people who do not own watches. I registered myself and will wait for the raffle to hit my lucky ass.

La Gazzetta dello sport to drop NFTs in tribute of Italian football

La Gazzetta Dello Sport is currently releasing their first NFT collection, paying tribute to the great passion in this sport. After 11 years, Milan finally regained the title. The collection consists of 4 tiers. The cost is from 29.90 to 999 euros.

NFT holders, depending on the tier, will receive: 12 months of a free “G +” subscription, discounts and privileges on future collections, access to the exclusive Discord channel, access to rare live broadcasts and video chats with leading sports celebrities. Those with higher tiers will be listed in the newspaper and will have access to events.

In my opinion, this is the perfect combination of an event for the release of NFT and benefits that are tied to them. This is not just a video of the moment of the goal (which you can watch on YouTube — yes, NBATopshot?). This is the next generation of fan community building.

Dominican Republic hotel is offering NFTs for reservation

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is partnering with startup Pinktada to enable guests to book rooms by purchasing NFTs. Buyers will be given a discount.

«We can reach another consumer that maybe isn’t booking through traditional means.»
Jason Kycek, the Senior VP of the Dominican Republic hotel

Guests can sell their bookings on the Marketplace to other interested buyers. In addition, they can use their tokens for other hotels in the Pinktada.

«You give hotel owners certainty of income. But give travellers the flexibility if their plans change to sell or swap tokens.»
Mark Gordon

Sounds good to me! If we go on vacation to the Dominican Republic, I know how to book an overnight stay at the hotel over there. 😀

«Love, Death + Robots» returns to Netflix with NFT

NetflixNFT

Love, Death + Robots is back on Netflix for a third season — with the help of an NFT hunt. QR codes for NFTs will be scattered throughout the digital and physical world. The project includes nine digital images with a QR code in various media, including billboards, videos, and episodes of a sci-fi series.

Love, Death + Robots NFTs are minted on the Ethereum blockchain. The starting price of each NFT on OpenSea is 0.002 ETH.

In the animated series, qr codes are hidden, which make it possible to stigmatize the NFT. One of the qr-codes can be easily seen in the last episode of the third season, the rest have to be looked for, they are pretty well hidden.

Netflix, bravo! 👏 Awesome gamification.

Don’t forget to follow
and send me some interesting NFT cases.
